Traveler, Photographer, and Model

Hello! My name is Halei Ungy and I'm a traveler by nature, practicing photography on the side, and model for fun. I currently live in the beautiful city of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and travel around the United States to experience all life has to offer. I'm always on my toes, ready for my next adventure. My upcoming travel escapade is North Carolina the first week of February. I plan on having great experiences while there, writing new blog posts and making travel videos on my YouTube channel. Aside from traveling, I model for beginning portrait photographers to help build their portfolios. I love experiencing different photographer's methods to capturing the perfect shot during photoshoots. Watching how comfortable they are in their own environment is a great experience; you get a front row seat on how the magic happens. With each photographer I meet, I witness amazing artists learning and creating their trademarks in photography. Every photographer has a unique process of positioning their models and it has helped me with my own portrait photography that I have been practicing throughout the years. Capturing a person's beauty is an amazing art form and it takes great skill to achieve. I greatly enjoy helping photographers grow their portfolios to start up their own businesses; encouraging others in your art field is what art is all about. Photography has been one of my hobbies since I was a little girl. The very first photo was taken when I was only 3 years old while on the beach with my family in Hawaii. My main focal point in photography has been landscape; capturing God's creation makes me realize that He is the uttermost artist. The world is full of beautiful scenery of different colors, shades, scents and much more. I've also been experimenting with portrait photography on the side and hope to continue to get better. You can find my photography portfolio in the menu above under "Photography".

Recently, I decided to start making weekly videos on YouTube giving encouragement to others as well as vlog videos of my travel experiences. This world needs more positivity and hope, so I plan to use my voice to help spread love to those who need it. You can find the link to my channel in the menu above.
